Founded in 1923 by Israel Myers as Londontown Clothing Company, London Fog first made a name for itself by creating waterproof coats for the U.S. Navy during WWII. Then, in the 1950s, the label partnered with DuPont to create a durable, water-repellant fabric used in its coats, which also featured the first removable liner. Since then, the outerwear icon has introduced contemporary clothing, luggage, shoes and accessories to its line.
