Von Dutch, meaning “stubborn as a Dutchman”, was named after legendary artist Kenneth Howard who was known for his talent, skill and originality. After his death his daughters sold the company and it’s now run by Groupe Royer, one of the largest shoe distributors in Europe. Howard’s rock & roll spirit, artwork and imagination are reflected in each Von Dutch piece offered to this day.
